Born from a Dream
Conceived from the dream of recreating the profound essence of a traditional Chinese temple in Europe, the Eternal Spring Institute was founded with a singular, unwavering mission: to provide world-class instruction in Chinese Martial Arts.
We sought to build a haven free from the limitations of commercial associations or lineage politics. A place where the art itself is the highest authority—a neutral and inclusive sanctuary welcoming masters, dedicated instructors, and sincere beginners alike.
The Isles of the Blessed
We searched for the ideal location—a place infused with energy, beauty, and inspiration. Like Taiwan, where the idea began, we desired a magical environment with a temperate climate and spiritual depth.
We found it in Portugal, on the legendary island of Madeira. Once called the "Isles of the Blessed" by the ancient Greeks, and known today as the "Eternal Spring Island," it is the perfect canvas for cultivation.
